We will be fishing in the Poor Girls Open tournament in Ocean City, Maryland on August 15, 2026. This special event is much more than just a fishing tournament; it’s a way for us to raise money for breast cancer research and support programs.

For 30 years, the Poor Girls Open Fishing Tournament has brought together women anglers and a supportive community. It all started as a way for local restaurant and hotel staff to enjoy a fun fishing competition, while also doing good for a very important cause. So far, the tournament has raised over $1.8 million for breast cancer causes, such as the American Cancer Society.
